The number of property sales in Geneva is the lowest since 1998. In 2012, 1,945 recorded transactions represent a total of CHF 4.5 billion in 2013, both the number of transactions that their value should still withdraw.
The number of transactions on single-family homes (474) is the lowest since 1996. The average price in 2012 was CHF 2,830 million, similar to the 2011 amount. It is lowest when the house is new when it is old.
106 transactions of undeveloped land are the lowest figure since 1992. The total area of land traded in 2012 (583'400 m2) - more than three-quarters are located in agricultural areas - is more important than in 2011, but lower than the values recorded between 2005 and 2010.
