I'll just start at the back and back to work ... Yesterday (Sunday) I had the morning to myself and at the insistence of Sherlock I went to Lausanne. It is included in my Swiss Rail. It is about 40 minutes by train to Interlaken and then climb down the most beautiful village, Thun. Thun running a boat on Lake Thun to Spiez and back. Saturday was for me the best day yet. We've got the most amazing gift from the organizers to be sponsored for the trip to Jungfrau. There is a railway built to Jungfraujoch at 3454 meters. It is the highest point in Europe (where people can come and climb). Top of Jungfrau is the highest in Europe and lies on 4158 meters. Sherlock said which one is the highest, but I have forgotten. Sure Mont Blanc 4810 meters. I look on google and of course Mt Elbrus in Russia, the highest one in the new Europe. They indicate Mont Blanc now the highest in Western Europe. The highest peak in Switzerland Dufourspitze at Monte Rosa. Today's trip cost more than R2000 per person and we go for mahala! And what a day it was! A beautiful blue-sky-puzzle-picture day!
