Training Week 51 | Full Speed Lingsom
It's been a good week of training, but the body has been tired. Chris has been at work in Sweden and that alone mom some days I struggled to get the energy to orc / number of training which was set up. But - with enough food, PowerNap and the kindest four year old went mostly in the box. A total of nearly 12 hours of training. The focus was on the swimming and low intensity. A total of five swimming sessions rate and 17,500 meters.
Tuesday: Long program at Domus today. Main Series 4x (300 +200 +100). Should run 45 minutes after work, but was only half an hour ago I got a very sore stomach suddenly. Not a good idea to eat protein bar just before Run!
Thursday: Full day courses to learn more about using foamroll. Got about an hour rolling total. Should have had one hour strength training, but with Kristian at work in Sweden and a tired body I fell to the temptation to rest. Do not think it was a stupid choice.
Friday: Started the day with swimming at Domus. Quiet session rate focusing on technique and endurance. After work, it was an hour jog in Frogner Park. Has been much better at keeping the pace down both swimming and run. Is it quiet, I train quiet. Hope it will be reflected on the form later.
Saturday: Skipped equally well in the field and ran a tough svømmeøkt morning. Got me Robert came straight from night shift. Main Series 4x (3 100 hard + 100 free) on 1.30 and set break 50 seconds. Not a good day in the water. I had to struggle to keep the 1.15-speed and was very happy when the session was finished. Got food and rest before it was 1.45 calm passage on spinning bike, to save the family of noisy roller cycling home in the middle of posting time.
Sunday: 8:45 I met Jerome Hundsund where we ran over an hour progressively. Beautiful sunrise and good company doing something with your mood, and the run went lighter and lighter while the speed increased. Straight into the swimming pool for 45 min technique without intensity. Long time since I've spent time on drills and calm swimming, it was useful and delicious. Good to be completed before 12 with current practice, rate the rest of Sunday was spent long lunch with the family and home theater in the living room. Kos!
